在守護生命的醫療領域中，獸醫不僅需要愛心，更需要專業與責任。本次【真人圖書館】活動邀請林譽昕獸醫師蒞臨分享，帶領一年級學生認識動物醫學的日常工作，以及獸醫在守護生命中所扮演的重要角色。

林醫師特別提醒孩子們：「喜歡動物是開始，但專業與責任才是成為獸醫的重要基礎。」透過實際經驗分享，孩子們了解到獸醫的工作不只是治療動物，更包含推廣正確的飼主觀念與尊重每一個生命。這場分享引導學生思考，如何將對動物的喜愛轉化為行動與責任，為未來的學習與成長埋下種子。

In the field of medical care, veterinarians play a vital role in protecting life through both compassion and professional responsibility. In this Living Library session, veterinarian Lin Yu-Hsin shared her experiences with first-grade students, introducing them to the daily work of animal medicine and the mission behind caring for animals.

Dr. Lin emphasized that while loving animals is an important starting point, professionalism and responsibility are essential qualities for a veterinarian. Through real-life examples, students learned that veterinary work goes beyond treating illnesses—it also involves promoting responsible pet ownership and respecting every life. This meaningful sharing encouraged students to reflect on how passion for animals can grow into a sense of responsibility and care for others.
