青園國民小學

「英語繪課室」系列活動以英語繪本為媒介，陪伴不同年級的孩子走進故事世界，在聆聽、互動與分享中，感受英語閱讀的樂趣。

本次四年級配合聖誕節節慶氛圍，選讀英語繪本 Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Sleigh!，由《Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!》系列作者 Mo Willems 創作。故事以熟悉又吵鬧的 Pigeon 角色為主角，透過幽默誇張的情節，帶領學生在歡樂的節慶情境中體驗英語閱讀。

透過故事聆聽與互動回應，學生在輕鬆有趣的氛圍中理解故事內容，感受繪本中重複語句與角色表情的魅力，也讓英語學習自然融入節慶生活。

The English Picture Book Corner series uses English picture books to support students of all grade levels as they explore stories through listening, interaction, and sharing.

For this Grade 4 session, a Christmas-themed picture book, Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Sleigh!, by Mo Willems, was ed. Featuring the familiar and energetic Pigeon, the story brings humor and holiday spirit together in an engaging reading experience.

Through listening and interactive responses, students enjoyed the rhythm of the language and the festive context, building confidence and enjoyment in English reading during the Christmas season.
