青園國民小學

「英語繪客室」系列活動透過精選英語繪本，邀請學生走進故事世界，在聆聽、思考與交流中，體驗英語閱讀的多元樣貌。

本次活動來到六年級，選讀繪本 Creepy Pair of Underwear!，由童書作家 Aaron Reynolds 與插畫家 Peter Brown 共同創作。不同於常見的南瓜與女巫主題，故事以幽默又帶點詭譎的情節，引導學生從新的角度理解「害怕」與想像力。

透過英語說故事與討論，學生在跟隨情節發展的同時，也練習推測角色心理與情緒變化，感受英語繪本中語言與圖像交織而成的閱讀魅力。

The English Picture Book Corner series introduces students to carefully ed picture books, inviting them to explore stories through listening, thinking, and sharing in English.

In this Grade 6 session, students read Creepy Pair of Underwear! by Aaron Reynolds, illustrated by Peter Brown. Moving beyond traditional Halloween themes, the story uses humor and a playful spooky twist to spark imagination and reflection.

Through storytelling and discussion, students followed the plot, considered characters’ feelings, and experienced how text and illustrations work together to create meaning.
